Daniel McLeod has lived in Vancouver since completing high school. He has degrees from Simon Fraser University and the University of B.C. He is a frequent guest lecturer at conferences on immigration law and is an instructor with the UBC Continuing Studies Immigration Practitioner Certification Program.

 

Daniel has been a lawyer since 1982 and has had a law practice at 2695 Granville Street in Vancouver since December, 1988. Daniel is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Immigration and Wills and Estates Sections (B.C. Branch). He is also an active member of the Amnesty International Lawyers' Group.

 

Daniel has over fourteen years of experience in Immigration law and has travelled in the U.K., Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, Australia, Mexico and the U.S.A. He frequently surfs the Net for Canadian and international research.

 

Daniel's immigration clients come from all over the world including England, Ireland, Czech Republic, China, Hong Kong, Chile, France, Afghanistan, Italy, Germany, Iran, Korea, Argentina, Brazil, Central America, Scotland, Sri Lanka, U.S.A., South Africa and Zimbabwe.

When not surfing or lawyering, Daniel enjoys hiking with his wife and daughter, sea kayaking, cross-country skiing, and inline speedskating.
